Lorsqu&rsquo;on effectue une r\u00e9paration sur un c\u00e2ble sous marin, le navire r\u00e9cup\u00e8re le c\u00e2ble au fond de l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an avec un grapin. Puis il coupe la partie du c\u00e2ble ab\u00eem\u00e9e, et pour garder \u00e0 flot les extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s du c\u00e2ble on y fixe ce type de bou\u00e9e pour le r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer facilement par la suite.
